Hey, guys! I'm Comic Auzi, co-creator of a cartoon on YouTube called Pharnus and Friends. Here is where I have the occasional post about things going on in the cartoon and just reblog other posts that I like.
For those who may not follow ILKPAL I was on animation detail for a brief period. As such I got to do the little intro bit with the sneeze. ^w^
Now I know what you must be thinking, “Comic, that’s really neat and all but why even bring it up? It’s small potatoes compared to what the rest of her team does on a regular basis.” And while you are correct in that assessment, one big fingerprint I left here is that the animation I did was in the same style I did Bronymonster’s Birthday.
Funny story: I was just perusing my old art when I came across this comic I did for my school’s newsletter. It immediately brought to mind a very bizarre thought into my head.
Council Member #1: Are we going to let the public pick the name again? CM #2: Well it hasn’t done us many favors since “
Boaty McBoatface” CM #1: We’ll see about that.
I’d make a joke about how I couldn’t see this coming but mostly … I’m disappointing. I mean … here you have an obvious click-bait quiz that doesn’t live up to it’s name by having things in their that are obviously NOT screen shots … but they’re all TOO OBVIOUS!
They do realize that even some Disney fans might confuse one film for another if you send the correct image, right? Look at these images.
Which movies are these screen-caps of from top to bottom [NO CHEATING]?
Okay I was watching Hotel Transylvania 2 tonight on Netflix and I swear they edited out a line of dialogue.
Said edit came during a scene where Drac and Mavis are watching Dennis’s favorite show, “Cakey the Cake Monster” (basically a Cookie Monster parody).
In the original theatrical version of this scene Cakey is sharing a cake with his friend Wuzzlumplebum and Cakey says “Slow down Wuzzlumplebum. You don’t want to get diabetes!” (Or at least that’s how I best remember it). However in the Netflix version of the movie the diabetes line is cut out and replaced with laughing from Cakey. You can even tell it’s dubbed over because the voice is out of sync with the animation.
I swear, I did not imagine the theatrical version of this scene, I remember watching this scene in theaters and hearing people laughing it up when that line was spoken. What happened here, why was this joke edited out?
Did people send complaints to Sony about the joke? Was there some mini-controversy I wasn’t aware of? Did someone at Sony Home Entertainment just get cold feet about including the original line? Is the original dialogue still present on the DVD/Blu-ray release of the movie and it was just the Netflix version that got edited? What’s going on here?
I was receiving a bunch of notifications on my phone thanks to all the reblogs on my last post. But what do I notice instead of that? Oh crap! My phone needs to be charged!
